Sam Sand Dunes are 45 km west of Jaisalmer city, approximately 1 hour by private vehicle. RUDVO arranges private transfers from your hotel — the easiest and most comfortable option.
Shared jeeps and government buses also run from Jaisalmer to Sam village, but timings are unpredictable and comfort varies.

Yes. The same-day Evening on the Dunes experience includes transfer, safari, folk evening and dinner. You return to your Jaisalmer hotel the same night.

What should I bring to the desert camp?
A light jacket or shawl for the evening (it gets cool after sunset, especially October-February), comfortable shoes, sunscreen and a camera.

Luxury camps have Swiss tents with attached bathrooms, comfortable beds, electricity and charging points. Deluxe camps have furnished Swiss tents with shared or attached bathroom options. Both include folk evening and dinner.
